Time to check in with some of our favorite blogs this past week with some recipes and photos!
AMISH PEACH CRUMB PIE: Man, this looks amazing. Check out this Amish recipe made by Patricia's Patchwork....Nothing better than an amazing peach pie cradled in a flavorful crust. Click here for the recipe.
MOM'S STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: Strawberry shortcake recipes are generally a dime-a-dozen this time of year, but this one just signings authenticity and wonderful goodness. MeeMaw blogs from Kalona, Iowa, home of the largest Amish settlement in Iowa and her baking and cooking definitely shares their similar traits. Click here for this recipe.
GINA'S HUMMUS: Gina is a talented young Mennonite Mom and writer who shares her life with us each week. This week she shares a recipe that comes from a different cultural tradition - Middle Eastern - but, geez, who doesn't like a great hummus? Her recipe looks amazing. Click here.
THE WHEAT FIELD: See a gorgeous photo on the blog of Bruce Stambaugh of a Mennonite farmer's field.
MENNONITE COUNTRY CABBAGE ROLLS: Can't go wrong with this recipe!

Bea Cady
Mr. Williams, I understand you have a daughter named Bea That is my name - short for Beatrice. I thought this was very neat. She is just a little girl and I am 82 years old. Love all the recipes.
Kevin
How neat, thanks for telling me that, Bea...I do have a 3 1/2-year-old name Beatrice, but we all call her Bea...Beautiful name, sounds like you have done well with it for 82 years, hopefully little Bea will as well!
