Time for our weekly whirl through the blogosphere in search of everything and anything Amish or Mennonite. Slim pickin's this week, but I still managed to come up with a few interesting and delicious posts!

WANDA BRUNSTETTER'S PERFECT PUMPKIN PIE:  Well, I'm sharing another pumpkin pie recipe today, two in a week, that's a record, but you can't go wrong with this recipe! Click here for this posting on the Charm City blog!

Look at those thick pork chops, courtesy of Meemaw!

AUTUMN PORK CHOPS WITH APPLES AND RED CABBAGE:  Check out this delicious recipe from Meemaw who blogs from Kalona, Iowa, the largest Amish community in Iowa. Click here.

TOM'S DRIVE THROUGH AMISH COUNTRY:  Tom captured some gorgeous scenes from the Conewango Valley of New York, you can really feel a sense of place with these photos, you can almost jump into the photo and hear the crunch of leaves and feel the crispness in the area. Click here.

AMISH POTATO STUFFING:  Check out this timely recipe for a classic Amish turkey companion! Click here.

AMISH HORSE COMPETITION: This is an interesting post from Tom Nye over at the Amish Horses blog.  This young Amish woman is participating in a horse competition, displaying her ribbons, allowing herself to be photographed, all of which are unusual activities.  Still, as Tom correctly points out, there are so many variations among Amish communities.    I like the way the whole family is pitching in to help her. Click here to see these fun photos.
